The University of Arizona is gradually adding signage in Native American languages to university buildings, in collaboration with the tribes. We recently had a sign unveiling ceremony for the sign on the Health Sciences Innovation Building in Hia Ced O'odham. Hia Ced O'odham dancers performed. Incidentally the word "barbarism" originates from the Greek term "barbaros" which is a word they used for people who spoke foreign languages, to claim that they all sounded like they were just going "barbarbarbar" over and over again. So it's actually just as racist as the word "gobbledygook!"
