This now banned dragnet surveillance tactic was used to great effect in Seattle for the most petty of reasons.... there was a protest at the Police Union building.

Little to no property damage or other harm was reported (other than the cops beating ppl of course) none the less the fucking FBI built a case entirely on dragnet phone spying tools fit for a Tom Clancy novel.

Anyone got any recommendations for contractors for doing bathroom remodeling in the Seattle area? I swear i've emailed like 16-17 - only had 2 responses and their bids were so wildly differring that my brain is frying - 35k for one 80k for another.

We officially started spring planting today. Managed to get kinnikinnick (x2), English Thyme (x2), a Blue Bog Ice Rosemary, and periwinkle (x6) plants in the ground, plus sowed seed for general wildflowers (in the parking strip), Danish yarrow and California poppies. But best of all: this year I got to transplant a volunteer lavender plant that's been growing in the garden path 😍 I've been waiting two years to do this! I wanted her to be strong! I hope she makes it.

Today in Feral Cats: I saw a woman loading a cat trap into her car, and asked if she was trapping. And she was! She was from Alley Cats! And it turns that our local Gray Kitty (aka Graybird) has been relocated to a feral cat sanctuary! Which is a relief tbh, because we noticed his fur matting up, which is a sign that a cat is getting older. They're also trying to trap the other locals, so I guess our faves have their days numbered. But in a good way!

Dinner will be slightly late because *checks card* a flash flood nearly trashed our below street level garage.

We got there before it did though. Extra lesson: sewer caps are hard to open in an emergency, especially when the water is ice cold.

anyone in the #seattle area know of a doctor that can diagnose whether someone has #ehlersdanlos ? just became aware of someone a couple degrees removed from me describing a bunch of symptoms that sound like it & would like to give them a resource. :boost_ok:
