My latest artwork is a shinto shrine inspired by the town of Sawara, Japan. Also, the first pixel art I've made in Krita on Linux! I could never get Clip Studio Paint to work with Lutris so knowing I can transfer this workflow is awesome.

Long image description (with some anatomy of a shrine type terminology) on my site gallery: https://pixelglade.net/artwork/pixelart.html#pixelart-shinto-shrine-sawara

I warmly recommend this game, if you have about 5 or 6 hours to play and enjoy #indiegames with time travel, unhinged cosmic tales, fever dreams, world apocalypse, and nonsensical events with sinister outcomes. It was a nice surprise from the #visualnovel fest on #steam and I'm so glad I picked it.

Damn just thought of another one I really liked and I know I've posted about it here before but now I can't find the screenshot... But Novena Diabolos has a marker on the text speed slider for "suggested speed" but doesn't stop you from putting it higher or lower, and that's something I've never seen in other VNs and should be more common! Instead of force setting a particular speed, just give some indicator that the text was optimized for that speed and don't complain if you change it lol

Ok here's a positive nitpick (?) for a change: I love the way the save/load screens for sweet pool are missing some random spots. It's such a little detail but it feels unbalanced and mildly upsetting and that fits the mood perfectly. #visualnovel
