Dr. Anna Latour<p>Dear knitters of Mastodon,</p><p>Many years ago, I started this top-down circular yoke stranded colourwork jumper, hoping to knit my own ugly Christmas jumper, using a pattern by Drops (<a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/157-23-silver-stag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">ravelry.com/patterns/library/1</span><span class="invisible">57-23-silver-stag</span></a>), using DK-weight Drops Karisma yarn (<a href="https://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/garnstudio-drops-karisma" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">ravelry.com/yarns/library/garn</span><span class="invisible">studio-drops-karisma</span></a>), knitting on 4mm needles.</p><p>I stopped knitting because I made a mistake and couldn't face the frogging.</p><p>Now I want to frog the whole thing and start over, in part because I feel like my stranded colourwork skills are much better now.</p><p>I am wondering if I should find a different pattern? Maybe I don't want the jumper to be "ugly" anymore, so it would be a bit more wearable? Don't know if ugliness vibes are completely avoidable, given the colourways that I have.</p><p>QUESTION: do you have any suggestions for your favourite circular yoke stranded colourwork jumper patterns that might suit the yarn that I have (MC: 500 grams / 1000 m; CC: 100 grams / 200 m)?</p><p>I never actually completed a circular yoke, or a stranded colourwork jumper, so maybe something that has some good alternation between the colours would be best, just in case I don't manage a good tension on longer floats.</p><p><a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Knitting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Knitting</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/AskingForAFriend" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AskingForAFriend</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/FibreCraft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FibreCraft</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/MastoKnit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MastoKnit</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Yarn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Yarn</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Wool" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Wool</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Christmas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Christmas</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Xmas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Xmas</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Jumper" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jumper</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/ChristmasJumper" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ChristmasJumper</span></a></p>
