I'm back in my linux partition for the first time in forever. Hopefully things haven't gotten too weird since I left...

Honestly I probably really need to update my distro but that'll lead down a big yakshaving hole. I'd really rather spend this burst of productivity on something else.

Followed this tutorial and got a game running in--I guess--less than two hours. Pretty quick.

I liked it much better than Unity. Also impressed with how much stuff is built in.

My only complaint is the connections can get pretty complicated quick. Wouldn't mind some sort of graph view to debug when things get unplugged unexpectedly.

I (perhaps hubristically) think I might be ready to start building the game I've had bubbling in my brain for a while. Going to start off with some basic assets (since assets just make everything more fun) and then go from there.

Oh this is so embarassing. I'm still on fedora 25...
